How do I change the sponge belt2024-10-25T15:40:19+02:00

Replacing the sponge belt is so easy

The sponge band needs to be changed so that you can clean it optimally again. This article will show you how to do this easily!

Let´s start:

The sponge belt is changed with the engine switched off. So first of all, it is very important to switch off the gasoline engine. Then remove the water bucket and this is how it works:

The tensioning pin is pulled upwards and the push button is pressed down at the same time. The clamping bracket can then be swiveled to the side. The entire squeezer unit can then be lifted upwards and locked into place. Now you can easily push out the water bucket from both sides. When the water bucket is removed, the catch is released again. On the left and right of the squeezer unit you can see a squeeze screw with a spring. These should be unhooked. The squeeze-out bar can now be removed. The old sponge belt is removed from the machine from the right and the new one is inserted. Each sponge belt is marked with an arrow indicating the direction of movement. The arrow must point towards the floor.

The squeezing bar is pushed back in and the two squeezing screws are hooked in. The pressing unit can be snapped back into place. Finally, insert the water bucket, release the squeezing unit and tension it downwards using the tensioning bracket and tensioning pin.

Changing the sponge belt is now complete!
